In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place and a memorial celebration will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 3, 2018, beginning at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM, one hour prior to the service.

Age 68, passed away at Rose Arbor on February 19, 2018. He was born in Royal Oak, MI, on March 19, 1949, the son of the late J.W. and Mary Louise Wilkins. He was also preceded in passing by a brother, Robert Allen. He graduated from Roseville High School Class of 1967, received his Bachelor’s degree from WMU and later received his Master’s in Clinical Social Work. Charles was outgoing and had a large personality. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and had a love for British and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He was a founding member and longtime president of the New Attitudes Motorcycle Club. When not riding, he enjoyed listening to music and had an extensive gun collection. Charles was a hard worker who retired from the State of Michigan as a counselor and social worker after 27 years of service. He also owned and operated BSA Interventions counseling services. Above all he loved his family and his friends. He was always willing to help others in need. Charles will be missed by all who loved him. He is survived by two sons, James (Kristen) Wilkins, Charles (Belinda) Wilkins Jr.; four grandchildren, Gavin, Ashlynn, Lucy and Benjamin; a sister, Ava Jo Wilkins; many nieces, nephews and friends.
