Age 65, passed away at Borgess Medical Center on Friday, June 09, 2017. She was born in Gobles, MI, the daughter of the late Camille and Dorothy (Ulam) LaViolette. Christine was a loving and generous woman with a great personality. Her home and her heart were always open and everyone she befriended became “family.” She loved the color purple and was an exceptional cook. Her lasagna dinner was never to be missed. Above all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her smile and laughter will be missed by all those who loved her. She was united in marriage to Paul V. Nelson who preceded her in passing. His family quickly became hers and she was dearly loved by them all. She was also preceded in passing by many siblings. She is survived by two sons, Paul “PJ” and Todd (Shannon) Nelson; two grandchildren, Keegan and Todd Jr. “TJ.”; many siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
