A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Calvary Bible Church, 855 S. Drake Rd., Kalamazoo, MI 49009, on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM. A time of visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the service.

Age 65, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Debra was born in Plainwell, Michigan on January 16, 1952, the daughter of the late Sabastian and Bernice (Way) Hamm. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denny W. Ford; sister, Patricia Schmidt and several brothers. Debra leaves behind her children, Nicholas L. Lovins, Kevin G. Fessenden and Kelly M. Schallhorn; grandchildren, Ryan L. and Madison N. Lovins, Veronica D. Schallhorn, Kevin G., Jr., Karilynn D. and Kadence A. Fessenden, Kaitlynn M. Ford and Khloe M. Schallhorn; great-grandchildren: Lylah L. and Ayvah L. Lovins, Jax R. Galloway and Hailyn M. Hoppe; brother, Don (Linda) Way and sisters, Joyce (John) Fornhoff and Nancy (John) Baker; as well as several nieces and nephews.
