Jon, aka “Coyote” age 61, passed away at home on April 13, 2017. Jon was born on April 8, 1956 in St. Joseph, Michigan; the eldest of four children to William P. “Bill” and Margaret A. “Peg” (Ochs) Williamson. Jon is survived by his wife, Pamela Williamson; son, Brian Williamson and daughter, Crystal (Jonathan) Martinovic. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Sammy and Sofia Williamson; mother, Margaret A. “Peg” Williamson; sisters, Joyce (David) Finlay, Judith (Jeffrey) Hopwood and Jennifer (James) Crickshank; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Jon was preceded in death by his father. Jon graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1974. He was an entrepreneur who started several businesses; he also worked for many years in the family company, Williamson Employment Services. Jon was always a free thinker who greatly enjoyed reading and learning new things. He loved the outdoors; one of his favorite pastimes was heading to the woods and foraging for edible plants. Jon found solace in the natural world and with animals. He was well-loved and respected within his community and will be missed by many.
