Age 35, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Marcie was born in Battle Creek on August 9, 1982. She is survived by her daughter, Alecia Page; parents, Roger and Crystal “Pixie” (Matthies) Sims; siblings, Mike (Betsey) Sims, Angela (Damion) Kreger and James Sims; the father of her daughter, Donelle Page; five nieces and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Marcie was an inspiring person who touched many lives. She loved spending time with her family, friends and especially her daughter. She held two Associate’s Degrees from Kellogg Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Michigan University. Marcie also enjoyed travelling, including a beloved trip to Costa Rica.
