According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a committal ceremony with full military honors will take place on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan. Those wishing to attend, are asked to arrive to the cortege area by 10:45 a.m.

Age 67. William passed away on Saturday morning, February 17, 2018. He was born on April 10, 1950, son of Russell and Betty (Gregg) Stockwell. Bill enjoyed technology and was a known computer nut. He was also known for his love of bowling and sports. Bill was a veteran of the United States Army and honorably served our country, as well. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Wayne. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Angela Wadlington, Malissa O’Connel, (Billy) William Jr. (Faith) and Timothy Stockwell, as well as his siblings, Bonnie (Joe) Clark, Nancy (Dan) Timmons, Harold Stockwell, Russell (Laura) Stockwell, and Cindy Stockwell, his Uncle Roger Gregg, his five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
