Dear Don, Chris, Ben, Sam, Barb and all in this wonderful family, I am so sorry for your loss. The sadness is beyond words. We are sending love and prayers, and we are so sorry we cannot be at the service with you. Wendy was a beautiful woman, a tender soul and had a positive, present spirit. Her laugh was a song to me and her warm heart, great joy and love, especially for her family, is inspirational.

I worked with Wendy at InterAct. She was such a hard worker and so passionate about doing for others, both consumers and the staff she worked along side. She had such a wonderful spirit. My thoughts & prayers are with her family and friends......she will be missed....

We are proud of Wendy. What a role model. She did the work of dying the way she wanted her last chapters to be. That takes great courage and strength. Those last chapters are some of most difficult but wonderful when we look back on them. As survivors, to be able to be part of that, to let someone go that we really don't want to leave. To support her in her journey until we can't follow any farther, then to let go when her body stops. So painful, so awesome, so humbling to be part of that. To help her travel that road. She was able to take those who loved her on the first parts of the trip. To teach you what a dying person goes through if you listened, to love you if you weren't afraid, to actually accept the physical care you gave her with no embarrassment, and to let go when she decided to continue on wherever her spirit will take her. It is one of the most profound experiences survivors will experience in our life times and you all did it. We celebrate her life! We send our love. Peace be with you. Nancy, Tom, Jessica, and Matt

My thoughts and prayers go out to Wendy's family and friends during this difficult time. I felt so very blessed to work with Wendy at Borgess. Her boundless energy, enthusiasm and clinical acumen were admirable and genuine. She will be dearly missed. While gone far too soon Wendy accomplished so much during her time. I'm lucky to have known her. Fly free out of pain and at peace. My deepest condolences, Kevin Kunzer, MD
