Brandon, I wrote this poem for you. I love you so much. I will miss you everyday. Brandon Labadie 2/28/87-4/20/21 Brandon, How I have loved you since you were two The same or more than most "real" mothers do How many more "I love you's" do I want to say Life is so hard since you went away When you went, a piece of my heart went too! I'm so lost without you, I don't know what to do I can't express everything that's on my mind It's not natural to leave your parents behind You didn't feel your diabetes and deafness were disabilities I loved that sign language open up communication possibilities You fought some demons and won, which I adore You had changed back to the man you were before Your world would have been different because of the things you overcame My world without you will never be the same Happy for you there is no more pain and no more sorrows But what hurts worst of all, there will be no more tomorrows Pictures of you smiling and happy memories, bring me joy I'm sad there will be no new memories to make with my handsome boy Someday I'll think of you without tears but with smiles That seems so far away, more than a million miles Just remember, I was not ready to say goodbye You are with the angels flying high You're with your grandpa's and God this I know And I'll take comfort that this is so

Brandon, you touched so many lives. Even lives of those you've never met just by your story. You will be missed by so many.

Damn bro, where do I start? We bickered so much growing up, I’m sure you hated my guts at some point in our life. I’ll never forget the time Nikki was suppose to be watching us and we got into one of our natural fights - running around the house, you pushed me into the couch, kicked me and somehow ripped my half of fingernail off. I’m glad your Nieces and nephews saw you one last time, thankful to have spent Easter with you. Love you & miss you forever!

I am so very sorry about Brandon. He truly was a sweet young man while at MSD, and I know he was loved by many. Loosing a child is something no parent should ever have to experience. Again, I am so very very sorry!!!
