Age 96, of Kalamazoo, passed away on February 24, 2025, at Northwoods Village, surrounded by loved ones. Corky was born in Kansas City, MO, the son of the late Estel and Ellen (Baucom) Goodson. He was kind, genuine and faithful. He was a faithful attendee of the Portage Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. He worked hard for more than thirty years at the American Bakery in Kansas City, MO. When not working he enjoyed collecting antiques, camping and being outdoors, and spending time with his family. On January 22, 1965, he married the love of his life Bonnie J. (Bisbee) Goodson who preceded him in passing in on September 6, 2017. Corky leaves behind many wonderful memories to cherish and will be missed by those who loved him. He is survived by a son, James Goodson; stepdaughter, Roxie (Leroy) Swearingin, Sherryl (Sisson) Johnson; six grandchildren, great-grandchildren; a brother, Rex Goodson; extended family and friends. Corky was also preceded in passing by a son, Timothy Goodson and many siblings.
