Age 77, passed away early Saturday morning, February 19, 2022. Earl was born in Lansing, MI, on January 2, 1944, the son of Samuel Allison and Lucille Maxine (Kirtpatrick) Cook. On May 15, 1978, he married Charlotte Bell who preceded him in death in 1995. Earl was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed looking for wildlife like deer and turkeys. He enjoyed going on car rides and looking at nature, especially up north near Baldwin. He loved working with wood and made several shadow boxes, outdoor furniture, and shelving units. Almost everyone in the family has something he made. He could make any old piece of furniture look brand new again.  Earl is survived by his children, Mark Cook of Kalamazoo and Bonnie (Ken) Hendershot of Vicksburg; grandchildren, Jennifer Cook, Cale Hendershot, Justine (Ryan) Quick, and Austin (Emily) Hendershot; great-grandchildren, DaNolan and James Carr; siblings, Patricia (Harvey) Hanna, Charles Cook, Jeff (Joni) Cook; many nieces and nephews; and countless friends.  Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
