A beautiful lady. We loved our times spent with her and Jim in Florida. We will so miss her friendly phone calls and messages. She will not be forgotten. Glenda Hayhurst and Bill Carroll in Ontario

Our Dear Glenda will be so missed. She has been a part of my life for 32 years and I value her like a 2nd mother, a friend and a companion. We laughed together, we cried together, we shared stories and experiences that I will value for the rest of my life. News of her passing was unexpected, shocking and my heart goes out to Jim, Mark, Scott and their families. Glenda will be very miss. Glenda earned her angel wings long, long ago and now she gets to use them. Thank you for being a huge part of my life, my family's lives.

We have known Glenda since 1982 when we moved to a house on her bus route in Mattawan. All 3 of our children were blessed by her kindness (yet firmness - which allowed them to always feel safe on the bus). Additionally, we joined the Mattawan Community Church in 1989 and were blessed even more often by her friendship, faith, yummy fellowship snacks and working with her on soup suppers. She took real joy in the children she saw grow up on her bus rides over the years and in the Church; taking a true interest in their lives. Her quick wit was fun to share. She and Jim were missed each year they became "snow birds" over the winter months. The congregation was always happy when they rejoined us each spring. Our hearts go out to Jim, the boys and families. Heaven has truly gained an angel and she will be sorely missed; but we were all blessed to share her with them.
