Helen was my HERO when I started bowling in the women's majors. I watched her bowl with the men against a visiting pro team. We bought a house with John. Visited her at Bank Street flea market along with Bev Carlson. Helen and Bev prepared the dinner when my son got married. Never a close friend but always admired her.

I'm one of Flo Thomas's daughters. I've known Helen & John all my life. Such memories of us kids playing while our mothers played poker. She prepared a semi--reception dinner at my home when I was married. Many times our paths would cross be it bowling or visiting with my mother's friends (Stella, Marie, Helen, Donna). I have been touched by the years of friendships these women had and now gone. Helen was spunky to say the least and yes, Vic, she did say what she thought and was a very colorful lady. My heartfelt sympathy to Eric and Mark. She left an indelible legacy for you. I would be at the service but wintering in Alabama. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

We are sorry to read of Helen\'s passing. As an immigrant to America Helen and her husband John became my second set of parents. My first pizza was at the Munther household on Vine street. In little league baseball, one of her sons was a pitcher, I became a catcher. She was the one who explained to my parents why I needed polio shots in the 50\'s, afterwards she was always known as the \"shot lady.\" She was a proud lady and was not afraid to say what she felt. Thank you Helen and John for allowing all of us kids to hang out and be part of your family.

I’m so sorry for your loss. May the God (Psalms 83:18 Jehovah) of comfort and tender mercies (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort your hearts while we await His Kingdom government that Jesus taught us to pray for in the Lords Prayer. Revelation 21:4,5 says it will end death...... and make all things new.
