A service to commemorate Jim’s life will be held on Friday, August 10, at 2:00 p.m. at the Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, 917 S. Burdick Street, with Pastor Jim Dyke officiating. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Those wishing to make a lasting contribution in Jim’s memory are asked to consider Loaves and Fishes or Kalamazoo Animal Rescue, in c/o the funeral home.

My deepest condolences to Jim's family. I was in touch with Jim through ancestry and always hoped we would meet someday. Even though we have never met, I feel a loss that he has passed and that we will never meet in person.
