Age 35, passed away suddenly of a Pulmonary Embolism on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Jason was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on October 30, 1985, the son of John A. and Jeanine K. (Shook) Babcock. Besides his parents, Jason is survived by his brothers, Benjamin (Jennifer) and Timothy Babcock; nephew, Zachary Babcock; grandmother, Darlene Babcock; aunt, Noreen Shook; uncles, Allen Shook and Charles Babcock, Jr. and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Babcock, Sr., and Don and Phyllis Shook, as well as his uncle, Eugene “Gene” Shook. Jason was proud to earn his GED and currently was enrolled in the automotive program at KVCC. He enjoyed video games, disk golf, walking his brother’s dog and walking around downtown Kalamazoo. He also loved to cook and watch sports.
