Age 44, passed away on December 14, 2019. Keith was born in Flint, MI, on February 20, 1975, the son of Howard and Sandra (Butterfield) Bearup. He was married for 21 years to Michael Chapman who survives him. Keith worked as Barnes & Noble College Bookstore manager at Lake Michigan College. He was an avid reader and writer. Keith was also a devoted parent to his children. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and being on the shore of Lake Michigan. Besides his husband he is survived by his children, Henry and Charlotte, both at home; his parents, Howard and Sandra of Birch Run; sister, Rebecca Bearup of Pontiac Hills; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and countless friends and colleagues
