Age 68, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. Kirk was born on December 9, 1950, in Flint, MI, the son of Ned Eugene and Barbara Jean (Ballard) Newman. On September 15, 1990, he married the love of his life, Lana Roblyer who survives him and will deeply miss him. Kirk loved the water and sailing. He and Lana enjoyed travelling and taking road trips. Kirk especially enjoyed spending time with his twin sister in Florida during the winter months. He will be remembered as being a kind and generous person. Besides Lana he is survived by his son, Brian (Valerie) Newman of Burlington, MA; a grandson, Owen; his twin sister, Kathy Keener of Newport Ritchie, FL; brothers, David Newman of Baraga, MI, and Andy Newman of FL. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-father, Glen Trop.
