Larry, age 63, passed away Saturday evening, June 07, 2020 in Kalamazoo. He was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on July 26, 1956, the son of James Franklin Hardin and Lillie Alberta Kelly. As a young man, he worked in various capacities including security, the hospitality industry and plastic molding. Larry later attended culinary school to master his love of cooking. He was preceded in death by his parents, and several brothers, Michael Hardin, Cub Elvis Hardin and James F. Hardin, but leaves to cherish his memory his beloved family. Those include his siblings and their spouses, Willie Mae (Philemon) Reed of Benton Harbor, Michigan, Rosie Hardin of Benton Harbor, Minnie (John) Richmond of Benton Harbor, Sharon Calahan of New Albany, Indiana and his brother, James Hardin of Sacramento, California. He will also be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
