Linda Gwynne, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on April 09, 1946, the daughter of Holden and Ardell (Dean) Selby. After graduating from Kalamazoo Central High School, she married Ronald Wright. Linda became a young entrepreneur and became very successful in her ventures, which included toy sales, working at various nursing homes, working at various vending machine companies. Linda married Richard Gwynne in the 70’s, and they enjoyed many years of marriage, prior to his death in 2014. Linda was a sassy lady. She enjoyed selling her wares at the flea market and became known widely, as the “paper plate” lady. Linda and Dick enjoyed camping in various spots in Michigan. Linda was preceded in death by her daughter Wendy Brown, her parents, her first husband, Ronald Wright, her beloved grandmother, Lucille Dean, several aunts, uncles and sister-in-law Louise Boulding. She leaves to cherish her memory her grandchildren, Joshua (Michelle) Brown and Alexandria Brown, of Mattawan, her son-in-law, Kurt Brown as well as her sister, Karen (Dale) Waterman of Kalamazoo, her great grandchildren, her niece Missy Waterman and several cousins and other extended family members.
