Age 90, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021 with her best friend, Sherry Crouch, by her side. Lolabell was born in Iosco Township, Michigan on August 14, 1930, the daughter of the late Wayne and Margaret (Goodrich) Redinger. She graduated from Mercy School of Nursing of Detroit in 1952 and would spend her entire career in nursing, retiring from Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. On June 14, 1952, Lolabell married Donald F. Risk, who preceded her in death on September 20, 2016. Don and Lolabell enjoyed a long retirement together, he an active member of the Masons and she the Order of the Eastern Star. They enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, camping, fishing and walking. Lolabell also enjoyed painting, ceramics, canning and gardening. She loved to bake wedding cakes and listening to music. Lolabell was a sweet and generous lady who will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Michael (Sidney) Risk and Sharon Fluke; grandchildren, Shad (Nicole) and Shane (Angela) Risk and Nickolas and Tyler Welsh; six great-grandchildren, Vaughn, Bo, Liam, Claire, Bryce, and Ozias; and her brother, Ralph (Sherry) Redinger. Besides her parents and husband, Lolabell was preceded in death by her brother, Lee (Nina) Redinger.
