Age 99, passed away on Wednesday morning, April 21, 2021, four months before her 100^th birthday. Mary was born in Paterson, NJ, on August 21, 1921, the daughter of Charles Vincent and Mary (Duffy) Sedeyn. On October 27, 1940, she married Charles J. Sheppard who preceded her in death on January 28, 2008. She and Chuck enjoyed doing crafts and traveling. After Chuck’s death she moved to Portage to be near her son. Mary is survived by her son, Robert (Cynthia) Sheppard of Portage; grandchildren, Connor Sheppard, Brendan Sheppard, Camille Sheppard, Darcy Sheppard; great-grandson, Gavion Sheppard; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles W. Sheppard; a grandson, Patrick Sheppard; and a sister, Peggy Matthew.
