There is nothing I can say to ease the pain and loss, I'm sure many feel at this time. The one saying that my aunt told me some 61 years ago when I felt lost was " I wept because I had no shoes until I met the man who had no feet" and at the time it made no sense to me. As the years have gone by it came to me what she was trying to say to help me. I know this isn't the same situation but maybe you can get some relief some how from it some day. From the first time I met Nancy at Standwood's I liked her back in 1969. As the years rolled by and we talked and socialized I found I loved the woman as a very good friend. She was like a big sister I never had. We hadn't been in touch much lately but every time we did meet we just picked up where we left off from our last meeting. Nancy had a lot of rough times in her life as I. We were like kindred spirits. Diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2010 I think I know what she went thru when she got the news, I just wished I knew maybe I could of helped in some way. It was so good that she met Larry, he was just what she needed in her life. Please Larry call if I can do any thing to help, Reg.

Oh, how my heart sank when I heard that we lost our Nancy. She was so wonderful in our luggage shop all of those years. I saw Nancy and Larry fairly recently, but was hoping and planning for another "get together". So sorry for your loss, Larry. Love, Janet Hanson
