Age 63, passed away at her home on December 7, 2020. She was born on May 14, 1957, the daughter of James and Arlene (Merchant) Ashley. Robin was kind, loving and sharing. She loved to spend time with family and friends and was most happy when everyone gathered. Holidays were Robin’s favorite time of year and she always made sure everyone felt they had a place. Robin’s home and heart were open, and all were made to feel welcome. She enjoyed staying up on current affairs and being connected with friends through social media. Robin was a woman of faith and hope, and her personal relationship with God was important to her. More than anything, Robin loved her children and grandchildren. She leaves her family with many special memories to be cherished and she will be missed by all who loved her. Robin is survived by four children, Ginny Welburn, Ashley Carter, Aaron Carter and Dan (Caitlyn Cornwell) Welburn; seven grandchildren, Seth Hoke, Kenadi, Averie, Hayden and Deagan Shepperd, Mason Carter and Benjamin Welburn; her father, James Ashley; four siblings, Evalyn (Duane) Soderquist, Carla (Richard) Gordon, Michael Ashley and James (Joyce) Ashley; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in passing by her mother Arlene and a sister, Patricia Donaghe-Eager.
