Gull Lake Dr., Richland, MI 49083. Out of respect for others and in accordance with State Law, face masks are required for all those attending. Thank You!

Age 41, passed away on October 10, 2020. He was born in Kalamazoo on June 22, 1979, the son of Joseph and Christine (Porritt) Holysz. Sam had a great sense of humor, wonderful smile and positive attitude. It was impossible not to like Sam and he made friends wherever he went. He loved gatherings and celebrations where he could mingle and tell stories. He was handy and could fix nearly anything and was currently working as the equipment manager at Gull Lake Country Club where he made many friends. When not working Sam was a passionate outdoorsman who loved bow-fishing and hunting, cooking and entertaining family and friends. Sam also served our country with honor as a coastguardsman in the U.S. Coast Guard. Above all Sam loved his family! He was a loving husband, father, son and brother who leaves behind many wonderful memories. On May 21, 2016, he married the love of his life Meredith L. (Cahow) Holysz who survives. He is also survived by his children, Nathaniel, Luke and Christopher Holysz, Tanner and Kiera Callahan; his parents, Joseph and Christine; sisters, Marybeth (Mike) Getty and Amy Holysz; nephews, Simon and Benjamin Getty; sister-in-law, Leanne Cahow; mother and father in-law, Richard (Anne) Cahow; many dear friends.
