A funeral service will be held at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Kalamazoo, MI on Friday, February 20th, 2026, beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions may be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Kalamazoo, c/o the funeral home.

Sava “Duško” Stefanovic, age 89 passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6th. He was born in Belgrade, former Yugoslavia, on March 20th, 1936. Duško came to the U.S. in 1966 after living in Austria and Chile. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati and worked for the Food and Drug Administration. He retired to St. Joseph, MI after living in Cincinnati and Southfield, MI. He was an avid private pilot and scuba diver for much of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mihailo and Nadezda Pantic Stefanovic. He is survived by his brother Dragan, sister-in-law Marie, nephews Michael and Fr. Nicholas, and six grand nephews.
