Age 78, of Kalamazoo, passed away at Centrica Rose Arbor Place on November 5, 2025. She was born in Kalamazoo on August 13, 1947. Sharon was an only child and would remain a lifetime resident of Kalamazoo. She worked for Western Michigan University and did her best to provide for her family and loved ones. Her tough “outer shell” gave way to a kind and generous heart. Her greatest joy in life came from watching her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. She leaves them with many wonderful memories to cherish. Sharon was an avid sports fan and loyal Detroit Tigers and Lions fan. She kept a close eye on the weather and a phone call from Sharon of “what’s coming” was a regular occurrence. She also enjoyed spending time at home watching her favorite gameshow. Sharon will be missed by all those who loved her and she will be remembered by her family always. She is survived by three children, Audrey, Sammie II, and Teresa Daughtry; several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her father, Louis Combs; husband, Sammie Daughtry; sons, Daniel and Louis Daughtry; grandson, Gregory Warner.
