Steve Dokey

October 2, 1960 - March 3, 2022

A memorial visitation will be held to reminisce all the fun Steve brought to our lives at Joldersma and Klein, 917 S. Burdick St, Kalamazoo, MI, on Saturday, March 12th from 3-5 P.M. Masks will be required.  Steve was always a logical man who was committed to supporting his family, and in lieu of flowers, he would want to be more practical in donating to help his wife recover some of the extensive medical costs endured related to his disease. It was always a pleasure talking with Steve and getting his insight on life and of course Michigan football, I am honored to have Known him and thankful for the great Neighbor he was. My Love goes out to the family during this time. I look forward to reuniting with him once we meet In Heaven. Jason

We are very saddened by Steve’s passing. When he played football for me, I always called him “one tough colt” because of his desire and never backing down from a challenge. He approached this horrible disease the same way. He and Sherri faced this illness with courage and strength. May God Bless your family.
