Age 75, passed away at Kairos Dwelling on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Steve was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on November 2, 1946, the son of the late Albert and Harriet (Tilma) Bos. He was a graduate of Kalamazoo Christian High School and served his country honorably in the United States Army. Steve was a long-time employee of General Motors, retiring after 31 years. He was very skilled at trades work and could do just about anything with his hands. After retirement, Steve enjoyed spending time at his home in the country, cutting wood for his wood burner and working outdoors. He was known for his storytelling and quick wit. Steve could come off as being slightly short-tempered, but everyone knew he had a heart of gold. He is survived by his only child, Jason (Amy) Bos; sisters, Linda (Roy) Galien and Mary Beth Bos; nieces, Amy (Mitch) Hall and Melissa Barnes; several grandnieces and nephews and great-grandnieces and nephews. A private family gathering will take place at a future date. Memorial contributions may be made to Kairos Dwelling.
