Age 67, passed away early Monday morning, December 6, 2021. Steve was born in Jackson, on July 30, 1954, the son of Richard Anthony and Rena May (Praay) Volker. On August 24, 1975, he married Kathryn “Kathy” VanVlerah, who survives him. Besides his wife he is survived by his daughters, Amanda (James Ruley) Volker, of Okinawa, Japan, and Teresa (Paul) Robinson of Parchment; grandchildren, Courtney Volker and Sean Allison; his mother, Rena (Don) Emerson of Jackson; siblings, Michael (Sarah) Volker, Jeannie (Mike) Paletz, Susan (Doug) Zolton, Robin (Lori) Volker, JoAnn (Ed) Forbing, John Volker, Tom Volker, Mark (Kelly) Volker, Alan (Zina) Volker, Hope (Chad) Bower, Sam Volker, Tim Volker, Tracy Volker; several niecs, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and countless friends.
