A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 15, 2019, beginning at 12:00 PM, with a visitation beginning one hour prior at 11:00 AM. Memorials may be made to the Kalamazoo Humane Society, c/o the funeral home.
Obituary
Age 70, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Anna was born in Kalamazoo on April 4, 1948, the daughter of the late Charley and Lorine (Taylor) Fisher. She was kind, loving and a joy to know. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She worked hard to provide a loving and welcoming home. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed knitting and other crafts. Anna loved animals and was fond of her cat “Mr. Whiskers.” Anna’s outgoing personality and laughter will be missed. She is survived by three children, Willie (Nicole) Williams, Michelle Williams and Kenyatta Williams; four grandchildren, Courtney Williams, Darvious Wallace, Liam Williams and Aujania Campbell; three siblings, Betty Fisher, Charles (Rosie) Fisher and James Fisher; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was also preceded in passing by a daughter, Lorine Wallace; four siblings, Willie Curtis, Minnie Baldon, Larry Fisher and Richard Fisher.
