In accordance with her wishes, there will be no memorial or funeral service. There will be a celebration of her life held later this summer, dates and times to be announced. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice, c/o the funeral home.
Obituary
It is with deepest sadness the family of Carol Rudloff announces her passing after a brief battle with cancer, on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the age of 86. Carol will be lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren as the kind, caring, and funny woman she was. Carol was devoted to her family and loved them fiercely. She is preceded in death by her parents William & Marie Clark, her husband Chuck, her daughter Rebecca, and many other close family and friends. May they find peace together.
I remember being 6 or 7 and driving between White Pigeon and Three Rivers, through the country and farm area. The roads were absolutely COVERED in caterpillars from the fields. I remember Great Grammy driving way below the speed limit and swerving around as many of the caterpillars as she could. It was this unreserved kindness she carried with her everyday, and those of us who were lucky enough to have her in our lives are truly blessed.
