Obituary
Age 76, passed away early Monday morning, August 21, 2023. Cheryl was born in Battle Creek, on March 20, 1947, the daughter of Leslie and Gertrude (Wuest) Whitmore. Cheryl was very active in the Lakeview congregation of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved crocheting. Nothing was more important to her than spending time with her grandchildren. Cheryl is survived by her sons, Justus Reule of Belleville and Joel (Jennifer) Reule of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Oliver, Elise and Ayla; brothers, Richard (Brenda) Whitmore, Ralph (Paula) Whitmore, Russell (Janet) Whitmore; sister, Cynthia (John) Pierce; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
This is my sweet physical and spiritual sister was a great example of what a true friend and christian should be. True she made mistakes just as everyone dose, but she was strong spiritually. I love her and look forward to seeing her soon. As her favorite song says Just Around the Corner.
Sherry was very kind, sensitive, loving, discerning, and encouraging to me and my family. Always enjoyed talking to her. She was a good listener and offered mature advice. We’ll miss seeing her beautiful smile and upbuilding conversations. So looking forward to seeing her again enjoying good health with her family and friends on a restored earth!!
