Obituary

Chris Clarke went to join the heavenly host of family members and friends waiting for him on October 18, 2021. He was surrounded by his loved ones. He joins his parents Carol Johnson and Burwell Hayden Clarke, both who have preceded him. He leaves behind his wife of thirty-one years and three sons. He was joined in marriage on April 13, 1991, to Wendy Gorashko, his one true soulmate. Chris and Wendy had three sons, who were his world.  Chris loved sports. He coached little league and never missed a rocket football game.  He was an avid bowler and could be found at the alley Saturday mornings watching his son’s bowl. Saturday afternoons were for his beloved Irish, and Sundays were for his Lions The two bright spots in his life were his grandchildren. He often said the love you have for your grandchildren is a whole new level of love. He had a big heart and loved hard. Chris loved to laugh. He had a great booming laugh and those around him could not help but laugh with him.  He was preceded in death by his parents Carol Johnson and Burwell Clarke. He is survived by his wife, Wendy; sons Hayden, Taylor (Tricia) and Ron (Gia); grandchildren Kiernan and Shane; sister, Deborah Richardson; three aunts and one uncle; in-laws, Bob and Linda Gorashko; numerous cousins and friends.
