Age 44, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021. David was born in Plainwell, on July 24, 1976, the son of David and Bertha (Marr) Woodward. David was an amazing artist. He was a craftsman and enjoyed working with wood. He was a gifted carpenter. He loved animals and reptiles. He had a lot of pets including alligators, snakes, turtles, and piranhas. He enjoyed fishing and working in his yard. David was a loving person and would do anything to help anyone. He was a loving son, brother, and friend to many. David is survived by his mother, Bertha (Terry) Dykes of Kalamazoo; his twin brother, Chris (Amy) Woodward of Kalamazoo, other siblings, Serena Woodward of Kalamazoo, Donna Dykes of Kalamazoo, Travis Dykes of Kalamazoo; daughters, Mercedes VanTuyle and Maisie VanTuyle of Sister Lakes; girlfriend, Sally Collins of Bloomingdale; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father; and a brother, Hank Dykes.
David will always be in our hearts and minds we shall never forget you. He was kind, caring and would give you the shirt of his back. Loving and missing you Dave Rest In Peace until we meet again.
