Age 78, passed away at Life Care Center of Plainwell on July 21, 2023, with family at her side. She was born in Richmond, VA, the daughter of the late Leland and Constance (Popoff) Brown. Diane was kind, loving and generous. Her home and her heart were always open to those in need. In 1963 she moved to Michigan with her former husband. She worked hard as a stay-at-home mother. She loved cooking, spending time in her garden, enjoyed crafts such as sewing and knitting and was always happy to attend a family gathering. She was passionate about animals and always had a pet nearby. Above all, Diane loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she will be missed. She is survived by two children, Deanne (Jay) Bourdo, Paul ‘Scott’ (Barb) Blanchard; grandchildren, Ryan and Amber Courtney, Jason (Bex) Bourdo; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and extended family. She was also preceded in passing by a daughter, Toni Hamlin and a granddaughter, Sheana Blanchard.
