A celebration of Doug’s life will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. noon, at Temple Baptist Church, 3706 Mt. Olivet Rd., Kalamazoo. Friends may greet the family at a reception following the service. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association.

Age 48, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024. Doug was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on October 7, 1975, the son of Douglas A. and Shirley A. (Peugh) Norman. Doug loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved to watch TV and in his younger years he enjoyed riding dirt bikes. Doug’s family and friends were always important to him and he loved to spend time with them. He is survived his only son, Douglas A. Norman III; granddaughter, Luna Norman; parents, Douglas and Shirley Norman; brothers, Terry Norman and Scott (Katrina) Norman; grandmother, Marian Norman; nieces and nephews, Logan, Reighly, Ashton, Gilbert, Penny, Eloise and Wallace; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Doug was preceded in death by his grandparents, Loren Norman and Norman and Wanda Peugh. A celebration of Doug’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
My memories are Grand as he is a very sweet young man. I spend days of his youth man with him and his brothers his mom my dear friend.Going swimming all of us.And my little girls playing in there yard with there cousins . We all had good memories of back then. He’ll always hold a special place in my heart bless you Dougie you are loved dearly.
