Age 90, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022. Josephyne was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on June 7, 1932, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Morrison) Leipzig. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. Nuyen, Sr. on October 26, 2017; as well as her sons, James and Jack, Jr.; sisters, Arlyne Chappell and Marilyn Schrepper and brother, John Leipzig. Josephyne is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Dennis) Rainey; son, Kim (Valerie) Nuyen; daughter in-law, Michelle Nuyen; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A committal service will take place at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park – South on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 10:30 AM.

I so much appreciated getting to know Jo at Park Village Pines. What a beautiful smile I got from her every day! Such a joy to minister to her through devotionals, snack times, and games. I will truly miss her! Condolences to all of you in your time of loss. May God grant His peace and comfort.
