A graveside service to honor Ken will be held at South Portage Cemetery on Friday, November 1, 2019, beginning at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Jim Dyke officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice, c/o the funeral home.
Obituary
Age 62, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones. Ken was born in Kalamazoo on January 18, 1957, the son of the late Samuel and Mary Lou (Riggs) Robinson. Ken was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be missed. He was passionate about motorcycles and loved to ride, enjoyed working in his yard and making memories with family and friends. He had a strong spirit and never backed down from life’s challenges. He earned an Associates Degree from Kalamazoo Valley. He understood computers and was employed as an IT Specialist. On July 25, 1975, he married the love of his life Rosanne (Burgen) Robinson who survives. He is also survived by three children, Jason Robinson, Kevin Robinson and Shelby Robinson; three grandchildren, Taylor, Caleigh and Samuel Robinson; three siblings, Janet Jones, Kathy Cook and Karen Robinson; his Aunt Peggy and several other relatives and friends.
Uncle Ken, you will be missed. You were always so wonderful to be around. From practicing baseball in your backyard to catching lighting bugs, you were a pivotal part of my childhood. I love you, aunt rose and all the kids. You are surely missed, but I know we’ll meet again. Love, Heather.
