Laura (Lori) Ann Burrows, 58, of Otsego, Michigan, passed away on November 18, 2020, with her daughters, Megan Burrows and Alicia Burrows by her side. Her son, Aaron Burrows was on a video call and her brother, Scott Hover delivered a beautiful communion over the phone. Lori spent her last moments feeling love and support from her family. She was full of love and laughter, smiling, and making jokes until her last breath. Lori was born to surviving parents, Carol and Russell Hover on April 29, 1962. She acquired a strong work ethic, a huge sense of creativity, and an endless amount of love and compassion from her parents. They have all been very strong, active members of their community. Lori is also survived by her sister, Diane Hehman as well as her foster son, Fabulous Gaines, and grandchildren, Riley, Russell, Sage, Jasper, Nash, and Rene. If you knew Lori, you knew that things were going to be taken care of one way or another and they would be organized and structured to a T. If Lori was not planning or organizing something, then she was planning on finding something to organize. She has made a huge impact on so many people\'s lives. She has generations of kids that call her mom. If you ever needed someone in your corner, Lori was the person to be there. She was one of the most loyal people you would have ever met. Lori was continually active in the schools and community from Girl Scout Troop Leader to taking tickets at a High School Musical to being in the stands at a sporting event cheering on the kids she loved the most. Lori was always putting kids first. Taking care of people and making them feel their worth was something Lori was passionate about. She always loved to laugh… but don’t get her going too hard if her inhaler isn’t nearby. She was full of love and sunshine and would do anything to make someone else smile. Lori is now in Heaven and cheering all of us on from up there. She is also most likely planning welcome parties in anticipation of her friends and family. Keeping Lori and her friends and family in your thoughts and prayers would be very much appreciated. If you knew Lori, please do something nice for someone with her in mind. Lori would like all of us to live life, be strong, and love one another. In light of our current situation with Covid-19 and wanting to keep everyone safe, there will not be a funeral. When all has passed by, the family will organize a memorial for her and have a celebration of life. Please feel free to honor Lori in your own way, safely with your family.
