Obituary
Age 85, of Portage passed away Friday March 21, 2025 at home. Mary was born September 12, 1939 in Big Lick Township, Ohio the daughter of John and Beatrice (May) Rice. She retired from Michigan Bell Telephone and enjoyed gardening, sports and spending time with her family. On November 4, 2017 in Portage, MI Mary was united in marriage to David Fitzjohn who preceded her in death in 2021. Also preceding her in death are her former husband, John Bradley; two brothers, Jim Rice, Glenn Rice; step-son, John Bradley, Jr. Surviving are a son, Terry (Carla) Bradley; granddaughter, Hailey (Alex) Bradley Scheffers; Brother, Ernie Rice.
I worked with Mary many years ago at Michigan Bell and she was one of my favorite people. Mary was always a kind person with a positive outlook. Although he it has been a while she is someone I thought of often
