Age 41, passed away at her home on Monday, January 16, 2023. Merrilee was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on December 28, 1981, the daughter of Robert F. and Penny L. (Neal) Lukins. Merilee was an extremely loving and caring individual. Her family was always at the center of her life and she loved spending quality time with them. She also had a deep love for her pets and her dogs were like her children. Merrilee was a fan of Hello Kitty and had an appreciation for sun flowers. She is survived by her mother, Penny Lukins; brother, Phil (Jennifer Parcell) Lukins; nephew, Edward Lukins and niece, Jillian Lukins. Merrilee was preceded in death by her father, Robert F. Lukins and her grandparents. Cremation will take place and no service is scheduled. Memorial contributions in Merrilee’s memory may be given to Animal’s Best Friend Fund.
