Obituary
Age 27, passed away at home on Monday, June 17, 2019, with his family at his side. Michael was born in Kalamazoo on December 8, 1991, the son of Walter and Debbie Kuras Jr. Michael faced many challenges from birth but through it all kept a joyful spirit and great attitude. He grew to enjoy hockey and was an avid WMU, K-Wings and Red Wings fan. He found ways to be helpful. He worked with his mother making holiday baskets for the Bronson Pediatrics Unit. He loved animals, especially his faithful dogs “Charlie” and “Belle”. Above all Michael loved his family especially his loving parents who sacrificed to provide him with the care and love he needed. Though cancer has taken Michael from them too soon, he will be missed by all who loved him. He is also survived by his grandmother, Etta Kuras; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing by his grandparents, Walter Kuras, Ronald (Charlene) Warren; aunt, Mary Kuras.
Michael will forever be remembered as a great student and friend to those that knew him. It was his effort, attitude, and perseverence that made him so successful in school. I was honored to be his teacher at Comstock High School. He will be greatly missed!
