Raymond Michael Laymon

Age 70, passed away at his home on October 16, 2017. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI, on December 10, 1946, the son of the late Raymond H. and Mary (LaRocque) Laymon. He graduated from Parchment High School, Class of 1964. Mike was drafted into the Army and served our country with honor during the Vietnam War. After being discharged he returned to Kalamazoo and began working for the Upjohn Company and eventually retired from Pfizer after 35 years of service. Mike loved fishing, classic cars and was a loyal Saints fan. He had a great personality and was a joy to be around. Above all Mike loved his family and did his best to provide for them. He leaves them with many wonderful memories to cherish. On November 24, 1967, he was united in marriage to Sheree Laymon who survives. He is also survived by his son, Jameson Laymon and daughter-in-law, Jamie Laymon.
