WICK, James R. Age 67, passed away at Bronson Methodist Hospital on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Jim was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma at Tinker Air Force Base on November 1, 1954, the son of the late John Paul, Sr. and Rachel Ruth (Stier) Wick. He was a graduate of Springfield High School, class of 1972. Jim served his country honorably in the United States Navy and the Navy Reserves. He enjoyed music, especially Classic Rock music. He also loved watching his brother, Jeff play the drums and attending concerts with his wife and family. On August 21, 2005, Jim married the love of his life, Debra Lynn (Whitaker) Wick, who survives. He is also survived by two children, Jamie Lynn and Jesse James Wick; step-son, Jake Shanks; brothers, Jeff (Debra) and Joe (Sandy) Wick; sister, Janice Wick; mother in-law, Tiny McGeathy and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Jim was preceded in death by infant twins, Jackie and Shane Wick; brother, John Paul Wick, Jr. and father in-law, Jimmy Whitaker.
