In accordance with his wish, cremation will take place and he will be laid to rest during a service at Riverside Cemetery on Friday, November 4, 2022, beginning at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice, c/o the funeral home.

Age 76, passed away at his home on October 18, 2022. He was born in Kalamazoo on September 5, 1946, the son of the late Andrew and Bernita Louise (Allen) Dykehouse. Jim served our country as a member of the Army Reserves. He was honorably discharged and made Kalamazoo his home. He began a successful career in Banking where he would make many friends and associates throughout the years. When not working he enjoyed bowling and golfing and was on many leagues. Above all Jim loved his family and his friends. He was a loyal brother, dedicated uncle and friend who will be missed by all who loved him. Jim is survived by his only sister, Cindy (Allan) Rozeveld; a niece, Joan Rozeveld; two nephews, Jeffrey (Brenda) Rozeveld and Gregory (Beth) Rozeveld; six grandnieces and one great-grand niece; a special friend, Linda Carlton; many cousins. He was also preceded in passing by a sister, Joan Dykehouse.
