JONES, Lenville “Dale”

Age 79, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. Dale was born in West Liberty, Kentucky on April 1, 1944, the son of the late Lenville and Ruth (Hall) Jones. Dale owned and operated his own restaurant, Steak N’ Egger, in Chicago and later worked for Helene Curtis. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to play cards. Dale also enjoyed watching horse racing. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen L. (Klein) Jones; son, Michael (Bridgette) Jones; daughter, Sandra (Kevin) Dee; grandchildren, Macy, Miley and Mallory Jones and Jarod and Jenna Dee; as well as his beloved dog, Gracie. Besides his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his brother, Charles “Ken” Jones. Cremation will take place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
