Age 60, of Climax, passed away late Friday night, August 16, 2024. Dawn was born in Kalamazoo on December 3, 1963, the daughter of Harry Leroy and Thelma Elizabeth (Joslin) Gilkison. Dawn was a graduate of Wakefield High School. She led a quiet and simple life. She enjoyed working with beads in a traditional Indian style. Dawn leaves to mourn her passing, her brother, Dale Gilkison; her sister, Donna (Paul) Uhlig; sister-in-law, Rena Gilkison; several nieces and nephews; and many friends, including her former husband, Terry Motsinger and her long-time care provider Nicole Geiger. Dawn was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Dennis Gilkison. | |
