February 26, 1946 - October 1, 2024 A memorial service will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. Noon, at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 7211 Oakland Drive, Portage MI 49024. The family will greet friends following the service during a light reception. Phyllis and Paul will be interred together in a private graveside service in the near future. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Good Samaritan Fund of St. Michael Lutheran Church or Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries, in c/o the funeral home. |

Age 78, passed away peacefully late Tuesday afternoon, October 1, 2024. Phyllis was born in Chicago, IL, on February 26, 1946, the daughter of Theodore and Lorraine (Huxhold) Mielke. On May 18, 1968, she married Paul F. Kurlowicz who preceded her in death in 2023. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Dana (Scott) Evans, and granddaughter, Courtney Evans. Besides her husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents. | |
