Alan Ison Jr.

Age 58, of Portage, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025. He was born in Kalamazoo on October 9, 1966, the son of Alan Ison Sr. and Rosemary (Dentler) Ison. Alan was kind, loving and gentle. He lived a quiet life and enjoyed being at home. He loved sports and spent many weekends watching his favorite teams. Alan also loved music, and he often had his favorite tunes playing in the background. He enjoyed making friends and was always willing to help others when able. Above all Alan loved his family and was especially proud of his daughter, Darcy (Nick Wallace) Hess and granddaughter, Aubrey Wallace, who survive. He is also survived by his loving mother, Rosemary; two siblings, Mark Ison and Steven Ison. He was preceded in passing by his father, Alan Sr.
