Age 65 of Kalamazoo passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, May 17, 2025, with his daughter and step-daughter at his side.. Doug was born in Kalamazoo on September 28, 1959, the son of Samuel and Janet (Redinbo) Wethington. Douglas was a gentle kindhearted man that was loved by everyone he encountered. Doug is survived by his children, Melinda (Jeremy) Putnam, Douglas C. (Jasmine) Wethington, Jr., Michael Wethington; several step-children; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Cheryl, Carol, Margaret “Susie”, Mabel, Terry, Sam, and Lee; several nices and nephews; many friends, including his lifetime partner, Martie Zeller. Doug was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Shana Wethington. | |
