Frederick Charles Blake of Kalamazoo suddenly went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on March 7, 1956, in Jamestown, New York.

Fred was an adventurous spirit and embraced the fast life. He always worked hard and played hard. Fred was not just the life of the party; he was the party. He was a true jack of all trades. He loved working with his hands and followed in his father’s footstep working in heating and air conditioning. He was a natural with technical skills, not only known by his expertise but also by his humor, and contagious laugh.

Fred loved to laugh and laughed a lot. He had boundless love for his grandchildren who called him “Boppa”. An animal lover who made friends with every dog he met. He was a father, brother, uncle and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Fred is survived by his brother, Leonard (Betty) Blake; sister, Veronica Blake; sons, Justin (Amber) Blake, Nathan (Beth) Blake; daughter, Raquel (Paul) Vandenburg; six grandsons, Parker, Braxton, Connor, Noah, Julian and Uriah. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Blake, Wilma (John) Gouin; brothers, Kenny, Ed & Albert Blake.
